Surveillance: So much information can be attained about an individual with just a few days of surveillance. Billionaires will spy on bodyguards, girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands, wives, nannies, and their own kids.
For reference to the cost of surveillance, an average private investigator gets paid about $80 an hour. When considering the quality of the agencies billionaires use, it’s more likely in the hundreds of dollars an hour.
Biometric Access Control Systems: Biometric access control systems are among the most expensive and widely used security systems. These systems use biological traits such as eyes, fingers, DNA, or faces to provide access to certain locations. These systems are extremely expensive, and only the wealthiest individuals can afford them.
Safety Bunkers: It goes even more extreme: bullet- and bomb-proof safety bunkers cost millions of dollars to install and can be found in many of the world’s wealthiest residences.
Secret Passageways: Within the mansion, secret passageways are also popular. They either lead to the bunkers or provide as a means of escape from any intruders who may have entered the residence. These passageways cost thousands of dollars and account for a significant portion of the security fee.
